A celebration of a Latina girl's fifteenth birthday is traditionally observed in Latin American cultures to mark her transition to adulthood. Originating from the Aztec culture around 500 B.C., a quinceañera focuses on the importance of religion, family, music, food and dance to honor the transition from a young girl to a young woman.
Being born in Tucson, Arizona I have been to many quinceañeras growing up. I've always loved going to them, the pretty dresses, food, cake, music, pictures and stories really makes for a great memorable time.
With all that being said, an officiant for a quinceañeras is an important task. It takes special care and dedication to get everything just right for her big day. So, I will make sure that we cover all the basis and get every detail covered to make her and the families day vivid and memorable.
